To all the young & old who have or are suffering from cancer, this is for you. Hope is all I can provide however I do it willingly.

My Story

Hi,

Once again this October, I am taking part in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids' cancer for the 10th time!

My goal is to pedal 1,025 kilometres throughout October & to raise more than $5,612 to bring my total to over $30,000 during my 10 years.

Over 9 years I have raised more than $24,839 & ridden 13,354 km for this cause.

Cancer is the largest killer of children from disease in Australia - over 700 children are diagnosed with cancer every year (over 3 die each week).

To show my support, I am taking on this 30-day challenge to support cancer research & give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

As usual it will be a tough month as it also includes running a 10km race at McLaren Vale on the 19th, as well as the weekly 5km parkrun, however that's nothing compared to what these brave kids face every day.

All funds raised will support Children's Medical Research Institute in their work to develop treatments & finding a cure for ALL childhood cancers & even adult ones.
